POLITICO is a leading political news organization with millions of page views each day. As a senior web designer for POLITICO I helped create POLITICOPro.com serving as the only designer on the project. POLITICOPro launched February 2011 and is an entirely new offering from POLITICO geared towards those that must have the latest and most up-to-date political news. At POLITICO I also worked POLITICO.com designing new features and sections. Working for POLITICO has allowed me to further expand my user experience knowledge into the mobile world gaining experience in designing for Android, iPhone and iPad.

FAVable is an ongoing side project which I created from the ground up. FAVable allows users to save bookmarks online, view them as thumbnails and share them to other sites like Facebook and Twitter. I am the sole designer and developer for FAVable and it has allowed me to try out new design techniques on a community of several thousand subscribed users.

• Concept development for FAVable where the bookmarking experience is made more visual

comScore is the leading source for online usage statistics and measurements. I was hired at comScore as a senior web application designer where I worked on public facing web projects and protected client facing web applications.

• Responsible for the design of "comScore Direct" which included a public facing web site and a protected client facing website
• Worked with project managers to define the user experience for comScore Direct and created timelines for design and development
• Design of new features and updated functionality for comScore Media Metrix web application most notably the user experience for creating complex reports

Clearspring was the leader in sharing distributed content commonly referred to as widgets. As a web designer for Clearspring I worked on the user experience team focused on enhancing the Clearspring platform.

Object Video is a leading provider of video analytics hardware and software. At ObjectVideo I worked with a team of extremely talented developers as the lead designer to create and implement the ECS "Event Counting Suite". The ECS is the embedded web application used to create and monitor video alerts.

• Designed a clean, simple and light weight user interface for Object Video's Event Counting Suite
• Coded standards compliant CSS/XHTML
• Creating flow charts of the user experience involved with managing video events

Systar is a leading provider of server performance management software where I was a member of their marketing team. I was hired as a webmaster/graphic designer for Systar and had the pleasure of working on a wide range of digital media.

Rugs Direct is the nation's leading online retailer for area rugs. While at RugsDirect participated in a site wide re-design focusing on improving the user experience of shopping and checkout.

I created OverGreen Internet Services in 2001 to facilitate my freelance web design and development work. OverGreen was a web design firm helping a wide variety of clients create new web presences and enhance existing ones.

At Ultraprise I worked with a team of designers and developers to further expand and refine the loan trading platform.

The Library Corporation develops and implements software for library automation from cataloging to patron management. I worked on several web initiatives at the Library Corporation and lead a small team of designers.

• Responsible for design and development of SiteSolution. SiteSolution is a product allowing libraries to manage their web presence through a web based content management tool.
